A BILL to amend and reenact section twelve, article seven-a,
chapter thirty of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine
hundred thirty-one, as amended, relating to continuing the
board of examiners for licensed practical nurses; and deleting
severability language.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

That section twelve, article seven-a, chapter thirty of the
code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 7A. PRACTICAL NURSES.
§30-7A-12. Continuation of board.


If any provision of this article or the application thereof to
any person or circumstance shall be held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the provisions or applications of this article
which can be given effect without the invalid provision or
application, and to this end the provisions of this article are
declared to be severable.

Pursuant to the provisions of article ten, chapter four of
this code, the board of examiners for licensed practical nurses
shall continue to exist until the first day of July, two thousand
ten, unless sooner terminated, continued or reestablished pursuant
to that article.
